I am the leaf in the wood. On the surface, the leaf looks just like every other leaf around it. It looks flat, discolored, and fragile. Like other leaves around it, the leaf is just a part of a nature that you see anywhere at anytime. It blends in with other leaves and change color according to seasons. However, take a moment to really look at the leaf in the pile closely. Is it really the same as other leaves? If you look closely, the leaf is different. It still has deep green color and most of all, stands up with its stem. With more attention, you can distinguish the leaf from every other leaves.It’s green, firm and still straight. I am just a part of people too. I live in this world with countless people who seem similar with me, and I am just a common individual you encounter every day. However, I have personality. On the surface, I might seem like everyone else but at a close sight, I stand up from others. I blend in with others times to times, but still keep my own color with me. I am unique. Even if big troubles may knock me down, I do my best to stand up again, with my ambition, with my stems. I am the leaf in the wood.
